The Brief
Accenture asked RPD to design, develop, certify and manufacture 15,000 wristbands allowing contact-free transference of details at Cannes Lions Festival in under 8 weeks.
The Project
Accenture had an incredibly tight timescale to produce this product, starting from a point of no specialist design, engineering or manufacturing knowledge on the project. RPD mobilised a team to not only design the product from scratch, but manufactured 15,000 units and delivered to Cannes in under 8 weeks.
The Product
RPD launched the wristband at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, where 15,000 bands were given to attendees. The bands were able to provide information about the type of connections being made, and where across Cannes these happened.
